The only consistent conception of a man’s right to education is his right to seek education and the right to educate others. Just as man has a right to his life, his property, and to free enterprise, so does man possess the basic human right of education in its proper context. Man’s inherent right to education is, in this respect, not all-together different than man’s right to his property. Just as man properly possesses an unlimited, absolute right to his property, so, too, does he possess and unlimited absolute right to education based on the standard of man’s right to his own life. Since reason is man’s tool for survival and his highest moral purpose, then it logically follows that man’s right to education is founded on the mechanism of developing his rational faculties—education.
